After waiting for quite some time, Jesse had turned her attention to her phone to keep an eye out for any messages and also so that she could entertain herself with a puzzle game. After all, it was her own fault she was early, she could keep herself entertained while she waited. She was so engrossed in the progress of one of her puzzles though, hand tapping away at her phone as she worked on the nonogram, that she didn't even notice the man who sat down on the bench next to her until he said something.
She blinked, looking up at the stranger, at first confused that he knew her name before she remembered she was here to meet a client. "Ah, hello! Everything is indeed well," she said with a friendly smile of her own and a nod. Before she even twitched towards the pocket the box was in though, she tilted her head curiously. "And of course you have the agreed upon payment?" It was only after she said the words aloud that she realized she should probably look around and get a better feeling for her surroundings. There was some stern man standing at the edge of the tree line glaring at the two of them, but the fact that she could easy see him at all made her not that worried. There were no odd vans in the parking lot or on the street nearby to indicate a police presence, so that was good too. Not that she thought anything would happen to her. If anything all the mundane police would find were a few trinkets that easily just looked like collectible little desk trinkets or toys.
"Is spooky guy your body guard or something?" Jesse asked as she gestured towards where the man was standing. That was probably something she should consider getting for herself, she thought. After all, trinkets and baubles could only get her so far and one day she might not bring the right thing for the right person. She wasn't even sure what this client was other than probably not a mage since she could tell she wasn't draining any magic from him.
