Nocturne stayed with CJ's bags and then followed her example by finishing his drink and tossing it out when they passed another trash can. The cocoa had done its job by warming him up but also possibly gave him a sugar high. Despite Lyric's insistence she be on one diet or another, they did still have treats in the house, usually made by him, but they weren't always so chocolatey or sugary. It had been damn good, however, and the company was also proving yet again to be welcomed.
"Sadly I have to admit to not being an expert on rabbits so I don't know if that's a mamma bun looking for food for her babies or if they live in... herds? Wait, no, they have some ridiculously adorable name for what they are as a group. I think it's... fluffle." Lyric had told him that years ago when a rabbit shifter said she had to go home to her fluffle. Whoever came up with that was a damn genius.
He slowed his pace as they neared the little patch of bushes the rabbit had been seen darting around. Shifting the skates still draped over his shoulder and crouching down, Nocturne tried to see through the bundle of branches that were of an evergreen type--he didn't know a lot about shrubs either, though some trees he could identify--and made a little humming noise as he considered if it was a fluffy tail he saw or not. "I think there's a rabbit in this one, if you look..." he trailed off as he waved CJ to crouch down with him and pointed in the area he was looking. “You should try to coax it out to you. Too bad we don’t have any snacks. I have a feeling that’s why they seem so comfortable around here.”
