CJ’s eyes lit up at the mention of a mansion, and she gave a little ‘ooh’ of appreciation for the location. A weekend in a mansion with a rich lover sounded absolutely divine! Jacuzzis and huge bathtubs, luxurious beds, fancy couches and big TVs… CJ took a sip of her drink, bringing her wandering mind back to focus on Nocturne as he checked his texts, and she wondered if his sister had even received his yet, though it appeared she hadn’t replied yet. CJ had never had a cell; they were too expensive, and who was she going to call?
Taking another sip of her cocoa, and capturing a marshmallow, CJ rolled it around her mouth before it dissolved as she raised an eyebrow at Nocturne. “It sounds like it,” she said, laughing slightly at the implication. Clubbing had never really interested her, which was one of the excuses she gave Mal for not going with him to the Indulge place he worked at, but fucking in the boss’ office sounded risqué and fun. CJ grinned, shaking her head.
“Best was one of the Lake View holiday houses. All done up to the nines and had a gorgeous view.” Which she’d enjoyed for as long as she could before she’d had to leave. Of course, the arsehole hadn’t offered her a drive back downtown to drop her off, so she’d had to find her own way, which mostly meant walking, since she couldn’t exactly call a Taxi without a phone. That had been a long night. “Craziest location? Probably the ice-cream isle of the supermarket.” She grinned, fluttering her lashes at him. “I’m very desirable, you know.” Despite her amusement and teasing tone, there was an undercurrent of self-deprecation.
CJ returned to looking for the rabbit, but didn’t see it. She took a sip of her cocoa, before glancing at Nocturne to see if he had anything to say about her (mis)adventures. Her sly little smirk was back on her lips, waiting expectantly. Most people didn’t fuck in supermarket isles, and she knew it was bound to get some kind of response – probably disbelief.
