"I won't be drinking," she said, brightening even further when her little brother confirmed that she could tag along. "So you don't have to worry about that." Following this, Arya shoveled some more food into her mouth and washed it down with some more wine, briefly cringing at the taste. "I don't know why I try to drink this stuff. I always think it's going to make me feel like some posh adult, but all it usually does is ruin my dinner..." She sighed lightly, leaning forward to instead pour herself a glass of water from the table-provided bottle.
"Quiet's alright. I'll just sit at the bar and bug you if I get bored." Looking up from her water, Arya grinned wickedly, winked, and then speared a mushroom with her fork. "So aside from work, do you have anything interesting going on? Any boys I should vet before you get serious with them?" Even as the words left her mouth, the woman knew that she was a poor fit for the protective older sister role. It had always felt pretty much the opposite, with them. Maybe Jasper was an old soul. Really, this was her way of asking her brother about his love life in a way she considered more appropriate than tittering like a school kid.[/size]
