Welcome traveler! It seems you have stumbled upon land known as Artanis. Artanis is a kingdom ruled over by the returning crown: Auldritch Xavier Wülfren III accompanied by a mysterious, unnamed right hand otherwise known as "The Archivist" King Wülfren III took the throne shortly after the catastrophic war known as the Ambient War where the dominant warring opponents were Elves and Dragonborn. Due to the magical strain caused by the war, rumor has it strange Rifts have occurred. No one really knows how they appear or what provokes them to appear so suddenly. What we do know, is that such events have caused great tension between the magically inclined versus the non-magic users be they mortal or not. So much is changing and evolving within the Kingdom. How does your story begin traveler? You have the freedom to mold and shape yourself whether any of this has an impact on you or not.
What are we? Artanis is Humanoid-Shifter Medieval Fantasy play-by-post roleplaying forum. We have a general storyline but otherwise remain relatively sandbox-y to ensure the open and creative freedom for your character development and needs. Due to nature of the site, we are a 21+ group. We welcome as much love or violence your character has to offer with the obvious consent of other players involved ❤ Any questions?
