  On the surface Madreselva operates like an average big business city, yet in the underbelly there exists a trades that even Las Vegas would hesitate to admit associating itself with. Underground shifter fighting rings, purchasable chains to change humans into shifters, a police force willing to look the other way for the right price. And for generations the Capello family has been 'acquiring' those of shifter blood to grow their collection of "The Kept". While it may be a well kept secret by those in the know, the secrecy isn't hurting business.
